Code of Ethics

Wright Way Construction is a professional company dedicated to maintaining the highest quality of building practices demonstrating pride in workmanship, self-respect and high standards of ethics, safety and financial responsibility.

All employees are agents of Wright Way Construction and are expected to conduct themselves at all times in accordance with these and all other principals conducive to any professional organization.

Conditions of Employment

No dogs, loud radios, boisterous conduct nor abusive language.   When permitted, radios off when Owner, Architect, Inspector or other noni-employee present.

  • No alcohol or drug use before or during the workday nor on or around the job site following a shift.
  • No smoking on the job site nor during working hours.   Smoking only permitted before and after work or lunch breaks off the job site or in designated employee parking locations.   Absolutely no cigarette butts on or around the work site or parking locations.
  • “No-shows” are unacceptable.   Personal business will be scheduled outside the work shift.   Any non-emergency appointments or leaves of absence scheduled during working hours are discouraged and must be pre-approved.
  • Late shows at commencement of workday and after lunch break are unacceptable.
  • Roll out on the clock and roll up off the clock.
  • Pay week ends on Fridays/Saturdays.   Payday by Wednesday.   No draws.   No exceptions.   Hours to be recorded on time cards daily.   Paychecks handed out after work.
  • Conversations with the presence of Owner or other non-employees regarding job progress, quality, past or current employment history, wages, personalities or job-related problems are to be avoided.
  • No loitering of employee’s friends, family or acquaintances on or around the job site.
  • Personal visits and phone calls including cell phone limited to non-working hours.

 Typical qualifications of our Production Managers and Foremen

As owner of Wright Way Construction, I am a licensed, bonded and insured professional Contractor with an impeccable record and a clean reputation for three generations.   Typical is that many of my Supervisors are experienced licensed general contractors in their own right.   Two of the supervisory crew I have listed below, for instance, have performed exceptionally throughout numerous jobs.   We have an accumulated 70 years working under our licenses. These particular Managers carry the following credentials: Before hiring on with Wright Way Construction, one of our Production Managers have worked years as Head Superintendent for a high end residential contractor building 2 + million dollar custom homes in the Atherton and Woodside areas overseeing 5 or more projects at a time including his assigned project (the last of which was a $4 million home.)   Earl who had earned his own General license 25 years ago welcomed the scaled down approach that Wright Way Construction offered.

A Foreman working for Wright Way Construction for 3 years, has the following qualifications: Intensive multiple certifications as a Certified Special Inspector and Certified Building Inspector as attested by the ICBO in the areas of:

  • Reinforced Concrete
  • Spray Applied Fire Proofing
  • Concrete Field Testing Technician
  • Structural Reinforced Masonry
  • ORS, DSA & Title 24, Relocatables
  • CPN Nuclear Density Testing, Troxler 3340 Series
  • ACI Grade 1 CalTrans Field-Testing

as well as CEU’s through ACIA in

  • Welding Techniques
  • Relocatable Buildings
  • Seismic Retro
  • Concrete
  • Roofing
  • Inspection Techniques not to mention
  • CSLB General B-1 License in 1975
  • UBC Journeyman Level Carpenter since 1971
  • UBC Apprenticeship completed in 1968
  • Experienced in management of high-end residential work
  • Experienced in various commercial applications
